We’ve been involved with UCL’s Grand Challenges project since 2007. This oversize piece of work brings together the successes and actions of the five strands of the project and presents those in a linear and chronological fashion. The underlying aim of the report is to demonstrate the momentum and strength of the Grand Challenges, the outputs of which are beginning to have real impact in policy making.
A deliberate decision to exclude all imagery – and lead instead with bold typography, graphic illustration and the project identity colours – allows the gravity of the content to come to the fore.
