Grand Challenges Identity
UCLs Grand Challenges initiative seeks to bring together cross-disciplinary groups, researchers and academics from within the university to answer the world's sentinel questions - Climate Change, Sustainable Cities, Global Health, Intercultural Interaction and Human Well-being. Using the idea of tessellation we created an identity that can work to show each part of the initiative working as 'Grand Challenges' in its entirety, or on its own within the context of the bigger project.
The star formation is a positive shape in contrast to the deadly serious subject set and helps to define the notion that UCL is a leader, a beacon even, in tackling these pressing issues.
